CANON
The brief
To create a 5mx5m pop-up space for Canon at the Commonwealth Games in England. The space had to showcase their latest product that they felt was related to the target audience of the games. Product trial and to borrow the camera for the games was key.
Timeframe: 5 Days
The Result
I created a signature piece of retail furniture that reflected the products unique design features and fell within the visual world of canons brand guidelines.
Not only this we looked at several ways to create an experiential pop-up and not simply a product trial space. However time constraints and budget restricted these ideas from going through, although the client loved them.
When trying the PowerShot Zoom out users were invited to zoom into the mosaic artwork on the wall and find a code. With this code they can try use it to unlock the safe which would allow them to get a brand new PowerShot Zoom for free.
